The Colombian deal

We improved our theoretical knowledge at Chocolate University and we also personally planted cocoa trees. Even here in the Czech Republic - a vast distance from Colombia, we observe our trees regularly. We can see how they are growing and if everything is going well we will harvest the first fruits three years after plantation.

Colombia is the country with the mystic El Dorado, beautiful nature, fantastic coffee, fruits and cocoa beans. Only 6 % of cocoa beans in the world can be guaranteed as original FINO DE AROMA. A large portion of these cocoa beans can be found in Colombia. This FINO DE AROMA origin ensures a great and unique taste which is very important for our company. The CASA LUKER company is the leader in cocoa bean processing in Colombia. They know what cocoa beans need in order to achieve mentioned fantastic taste and quality. Even the names of the CASA LUKER company and the CARLA owners name, LUKES, shows how close we are in perception of high quality chocolate. We have spent an interesting time together in the busy capital Bogota. Here we visited a cocoa bean processing factory and saw some real chocolate production. We also wanted to see how the cocoa beans are grown, so our friend invited us to a trip to Manizales, a beautiful town in the middle of a real paradise. In this mountainous region with a number of ridgelines and steep slopes we find subtropical highland climate with very fertile land. This area is under the control of Nelvado del Ruiz, a 5321 meters high volcano. Some kilometres away we visited the cocoa beans plantation and we saw with our own eyes all the necessary processes that go into a perfect beans treatment - from planting to harvesting. We improved our theoretical knowledge at Chocolate University and we also personally planted cocoa trees. Even here in the Czech Republic - a vast distance from Colombia, we observe our trees regularly. We can see how they are growing and if everything is going well we will harvest the first fruits three years after plantation. How many trees will be necessary for our production of chocolate with FINO DE AROMA? We will do our best to introduce and promote this fantastic chocolate to our customers in different countries all around the world.
