Hot chocolate with Chai latte flavor
Ingredients
400 ml | milk |
160 g | Carla 70% dark chocolate |
5 rounds | fresh ginger |
5 pieces | star anise |
5 pieces | whole cinnamon |
1 teaspoon | cardamom |
1 teaspoon | cloves |
1/2 teaspoon | nutmeg |
honey |
Procedure
To a small pot add a milk, ginger and spices. Bring to a boil over low heat (be careful not to let the milk run out of the pot due to spices) and cook for 5-10 minutes. When the milk is well flavored with spices, strain it and add the broken chocolate to it in a water bath and let it melt. Stir best with a whisk until completely dissolved. If we use dark Carla chocolate, we can sweeten with honey as needed.
We can serve with whipped cream and cinnamon. Best autumn drink!
