| 225 ml | sunflower oil |
| 2 | eggs |
| 240 g | sugar |
| 1 pack | vanilla sugar |
| 380 g | plain flour |
| 1 pinch | salt |
| 1 pack | baking powder |
| 4 spoons | Carl Dutch cocoa |
| 250 ml | milk |
| butter for greasing the mould | |
| 3 packs | cream stiffener |
| 1 pack | vanilla sugar |
| 100 g | Carla 70% dark chocolate |
| 8 | bananas |
Filling
| 600 ml | whipping cream |
Procedure
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease a baking tray measuring approx. 40 x 25 x 4 cm with butter and sprinkle with a little coarse flour.
Beat the oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar into the dough. Mix the sifted flour with salt, baking powder and cocoa. Work it into the egg mixture in parts, alternating with the milk.
Pour the dough into the prepared baking sheet, smooth it out and bake in the preheated oven for about 20–25 minutes.
After baking, let the cake cool completely.
Remove about 1 cm of dough from the baked and cooled cake with a spoon, leaving the edges intact around the perimeter. Crumble the hollowed-out dough into a bowl and set aside. It will be used to sprinkle the cake later.
For the filling, prepare the whipped cream according to the instructions on the stand mixer and beat until stiff. Finally, beat in the vanilla sugar.
Take the chocolate and cut it into small pieces, which we mix into the prepared whipped cream.
Peel the bananas, first halve them crosswise and then lengthwise, and place the resulting quarters tightly in the hole in the cake.
Spread a layer of cream evenly over the bananas. Sprinkle the surface with the prepared crumbs from the cake. Let it cool well in the refrigerator.
