Procedure
It is necessary to draw in advance and calculate what we would like the cottage to look like, we will draw templates of individual parts. There are no limits to your imagination if you want to have a two-storey cottage, feel free to! However, we recommend smaller cottages, the part of theme hold better together.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. And we will prepare a baking sheet with baking paper. First we mix the flour, add a pinch of salt, baking powder, gingerbread spices and cocoa and set aside. In the second place, mix the softened butter with powdered sugar and add the eggs. Gradually add a mixture of flour to this mixture and work everything into a smooth dough, which we leave in the food foil to rest in the cold for at least 2 hours. Then we will roll it out on a thin plate, from which we cut the individual parts of the cottage from the prepared templates, place them on baking paper and bake for about 15 minutes.
While the biscuits are baked, we make icing. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and rub until the icing is smooth and shiny. We will fill it into decorating bags. After baking, decorate the individual parts and let them dry. After drying, glue all parts of the cottage to each other. It is possible to decorate the cottage with anything and put lights in it. Tasty and beautiful decoration for Christmas.
